What happens when you attach a GoPro to a Porron? What about when you fill it with punch and bring it to a park filled with hundreds of the best bartenders from all over the world? Things turn pretty awesome – pretty quickly, with a GoPorron.

You can watch that awesome-ness unfold in this new video created by Industry Denver at the 5th Annual Pig & Punch, a landmark fundraising event of Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans thrown by the award-winning San Francisco-based Bon Vivants.

Wondering what a porron is, exactly?

Think wine decanter with a pour spout. The drinking vessel was designed for drinkers to pour the porron contents into their mouth from arm’s length away – hilariously, it requires a bit of dexterity to drink from. The vessel, which originated in Catalonia and remains popular across Spain, and has become a festive tradition for serving and sharing wine (or in this case, punch) with a group of friends.

About the GoPorron

The camera setup that the we are cleverly calling the ‘GoPorron’ (GoPro+Porron) gained popularity among Pig & Punch attendees, many of which posted videos and photos to Instagram (#GoPorron) to show their porron-ing skills (or lack thereof) off to the world.
