The distillery, located in Koskenkorva village, features its own bioenergy power plant, which has helped reduce the Koskenkorva plant’s carbon dioxide emissions by 50% and increased its self-sufficiency in terms of fuel by over 60%.

Finland has a short and intensive growing season. During the summer months, the sun does not completely set. These conditions make the quality of barley ideal for producing an outstanding vodka. Locally sourced barley comes from within a 120 mile radius from the distillery, and with the help of pure water and a continuous distillation process, Koskenkorva is now available in almost 30 countries.

Taste: Beautifully smooth entry, with no rough edges. After a few seconds, a deep and complex portfolio of minerals presents itself with a dry and rich heft.
