I have a few friends who love gin and tonics. I mean LOVE gin and tonic. However, I only have one friend who is absolutely loyal to Hendrick's -- Hendrick's and Tonic with a cucumber slice to be precise. He's so loyal in fact that if a bar doesn't carry it, he drinks beer. so, when I first saw the Grand Garnisher, he's the first person I thought of.

The traveling road show meets carnival vehicle has been traveling across the country for the past three months with to offer "the most beautifully garnished Hendrick's Gin cocktails ever to grace a glass."

According to Hendrick's Ambassador Mark Stoddard, The Hendrick's Grand Garnisher has traveled more than 10,050 miles, visited 10 cities and sliced upwards of 893 cucumbers for the proper garnishment of more than 2,000 Hendrick's Gin cocktails since June.

"This is the most inefficient, yet spectacular, garnishing device in all of the land," Stoddard says of the 38-foot device, powered by a hybrid diesel motor, interlocking gears, 1800s steam engine and a talented penny farthing rider. "Our Grand Garnisher achieves road speeds of up to 25 mph and slices 18 cucumbers per hour, thanks to our well-dressed gentleman furiously pedaling his way across the States!"

The Hendrick's Grand Garnisher has visited New York, Chicago, Hollywood, the San Francisco Bay Area and New Orleans. It will continue for the next 80 days and will make stops in another 11 cities including San Diego, Phoenix, Denver, Austin, Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Jacksonville, Tampa, Miami and Washington, D.C.
