The thing about the Tipperary is… it’s really damn good. Named after a town in southern Ireland this Irish Whiskey cocktail instantly became one of my favorites.The green Chartreuse gives the cocktail a wonderful herby black licorice flavor that coats the mouth like a warm coat while the vermouth pulls in some sweetness that is shockingly pleasant to have join this party. Finally the Irish Whiskey glides effortlessly into the room, says top o’ the mornin’ to everyone (no matter what time of day it is) and then moves on down to the belly leaving a warm feeling of Irish hospitality the entire way down.

I’m not kidding when I say this is a delightful cocktail that will make you wish you had 2 tongues and 4 livers. It’s complex yet completely comforting.
