July 4th Cocktails – Suggestions & Recipes

Nothing is more American than on the 4th of July to grill out, watch fireworks, and have a few cocktails. So I comprised a list of cocktails that would be great for Americas birthday. Here are some delicious July 4th cocktails anyone can make.
Red, White & Bluegrass State
2 parts Maker’s Mark® Bourbon 2–3 large blackberries ½ part raspberry liqueur 2 parts ginger ale Muddle 2 or 3 large blackberries in an Old Fashioned glass with a splash of raspberry liqueur. Add in equal parts Maker’s Mark® Bourbon and ginger ale. Stir gently. Top off with ice
A Fiery Ménage
1 ½ parts Ménage à Trois Triple Berry Vodka ¼ part cinnamon simple syrup ½ part lemon juice ¼ part wild berry syrup 5 parts dry sparkling wine (such as Ménage à Trois Prosecco) Add all ingredients over ice. Shake and strain into a champagne flute, top with Champagne.
Blueberry 46 Sparkler
2 parts Maker’s 46™ Bourbon 1 part St. Germain 10 fresh blueberries Splash of club soda Muddle the St. Germain and blueberries together in a glass. Add ice and the Maker’s 46™. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Strain into a chilled rocks glass and top with splash of soda.
Strawberry Firecracker
1 ½ parts Sugar Island Coconut 1-2 strawberries ½ part fresh lime juice 1-2 packets of your choice of sugar substitute Splash of ginger ale or ginger beer Muddle sweetener and strawberries together; add lime, rum and ice. Shake and strain into a tall glass with ice. Top with a splash of ginger ale (diet optional) or ginger beer. Garnish with half a strawberry on the rim of the glass.
Frozen Boozy Bomb Pop
2 parts Simple Syrup 2 parts Vodka 2 parts fresh lime juice 4 parts blue Raspberry Vodka 3 parts Cherry Vodka In blender; add clear vodka, lime juice, 2 parts simple syrup, 2 cups ice, blend (put in freezer). In blender; add blue raspberry vodka, 2 parts simple syrup, 2 cups ice, blend (put in freezer). In blender; add cherry vodka, 2 parts simple syrup, 2 cups ice, blend (put in freezer). Spoon all three in glass to desired color layer.
White Wine Sangria
1 Bottle Dry Sauvigon Blanc 1 Cup Strawberries Halved 1 Orange wedged & seeded 1 Apple wedged & seeded 2 liter bottle Ginger Ale Put all cut fruit into a large pitcher; pour wine over fruit and chill for one to two hours. When time to serve pour chilled Ginger Ale in the pitcher. serve in individually iced glasses making sure to get fruit in each glass.
Watermelon Margarita
5 cups Watermelon cut into 1 inch cubes Kosher Salt 3 parts fresh Lime Juice 2 parts St. Germaine Elderflower liqueur 8 parts Silver Tequila In blender; add Watermelon, Lime Juice, St. Germaine liqueur, Tequila, and blend smooth. Using a fine mesh strainer, strain into a pitcher pressing all the liquid out leaving just pulp and chill for two hours. Serve over ice in a salted glass. Garnish with lime wedge or watermelon slice.
Loretto Lemonade
2 parts Makers Mark Bourbon 1 part Cointreau or Triple Sec 3 parts Lemonade Sprite or 7-Up In a shaker with ice; add Makers Mark, Cointreau, Lemonade, and shake until mixed well. In a large glass pour the contents of the shaker in. Top with Sprite or 7-Up. Garnish with a lemon wedge.
