DSC00114 His Last Call at bitter bar tonight

BOULDER – Justin Lavenue has announced that his final shift will be tonight (Saturday August 3) at Boulder’s beloved Bitter Bar. The establishment has made strong efforts in their recognizably craveable food and desserts, but the award-winning cocktail program is what really makes the room cozy. Justin’s two years at the Bitter Bar have earned him quite a name in the cocktail game as well as a respect across an industry.

His respect and reputation has earned him a partnership with current Bitter Bar owner/operator James Lee, who has left Justin with the task of building their new concept in Austin, Texas. Justin has mentioned in a previous interview that he ,”looks forward to collaborating with him on this project, all the while learning from and creating a great concept in the process.” Denver, well aware that the new project will be worth the flight, is looking forward to hearing about the progress. Justin is a name that has made Colorado proud and a name to keep on the radar. His letter of departure was posted with an invitation to join him for the evening as he makes his final last call in Colorado.

Hello lovely people,

It’s hard to believe, but my last shift at Bitter Bar is this tonight. It’s been a wonderful two years and I have been blessed with getting to serve almost all of you. So, to celebrate, come drink with me one last time before I move off to Austin, TX to start a place of my own! I’ll be there all night mixing up original drinks that I created during my time at BB… Cheers guys!
