Happy Cinco De Mayo! Just because today is usually centered around tacos and tequila doesn't mean you have to eat and drink yourself into oblivion.
When it comes to cocktails, stick to the basics. Avoid sugary mixes at all costs. If you can make your margs at home you'll have an even better chance of keeping them "skinny".

True Food Kitchen's Cucumber Citrus Skinny Margarita
RECIPE:
5 Slices of cucumber
5 Mint leaves
2 Orange citrus wedges
0.75 Ounce lime juice
0.5 Ounce simple syrup
0.75 Ounce triple sec
1.5 Ounce Ixa Organic Silver Tequila
DIRECTIONS:
Add all of your ingredients into a shaker.
Shake well and add ice.
Fill another glass with fresh ice.
Strain your cocktail into your glass
Top with soda, and give it a stir.
Aloe Gloe "Gloeing Margy"
RECIPE:
Lemonade Aloe Gloe
Tequila
Agave Nectar
3 Whole Limes
3 Slices of Jalapeño
Salt
DIRECTIONS:
Add all of your ingredients (except for salt) into a shaker.
Shake well and add ice.
Salt the rim of your glass and fill it with fresh ice.
Strain your cocktail into your glass and Enjoy!
