We're still reminiscing about Negroni Week and so we wanted to bring a whole new take on it by Andrew Larson who's the creative lead at The Nolen in San Diego. He created The Lost at Sea cocktail, which is a unique Negroni drink because of the addition of Cruzan Black Strap Rum with its robust licorice and molasses flavors adding a new dimension to the drink.
The cinnamon smoked rocks glass adds just a hint of spice that hits the nose first thing and adds another point of interest to the classic cocktail.
Ingredients:
1.0 oz. Smith & Cross pot-still rum
1.0 oz. Cruzan Black Strap rum
0.75 oz. Campari
0.75 oz. Carpano Antica
Regans orange bitters
Directions:
Combine the ingredients and serve in a cinnamon smoked rocks glass with a big ice cube.
