1 1/2 oz. Smirnoff Amaretto Vodka

1/2 oz. Grapefruit Juice

3/4 oz. Chambord

2 dashes of Rose Bitters

3 Raspberries

2 Lemon Wedge

GARNISH:

Carved Red Delicious Apple

This time I kept it as simple as possible so that anyone (YES anyone!!) will be able to impress their Valentine with this LOVE POTION!

In a mixing glass place the raspberries, lemons and chambord and gently muddle until all the juices are extracted and you have a nice puree. Next, add all the other ingredients. If you have any trouble finding Rose Bitters you can substitute them for Orange or Grapefruits Bitters. Now shake it for 5 fast seconds and double strain this intoxicating LOVE POTION into your prettiest rocks glass with a scoop of fresh ice. Don’t forget to finish it off by garnishing with your ‘heart.’

The color is translucent baby pink and the scent is citrusy, sweet, very inviting and all things LOVELY. The taste is like a romantic violin serenade at dusk under the twinkling stars and romantic moonlight… ok, sorry, I got a little carried away by this special occasion.. but I promise your amore will love it!

Roses are Red and Violets are Blue…. and Vodka cost less than a dinner for two! =)
