Eighteen readers love this post.
If there weren’t enough excuses to drink Malbec here is another one. Today is Malbec World Day and I wanted to make a savory sangria that highlighted this amazing wine. A couple of years ago I visited several wineries in Mendoza, Argentina and tasted amazing Malbecs. I toured the vineyards, had amazing wine lunches, and of course had bottles of Malbec. I feel in love with this place, the people, and the amazing wine. Argentina Malbec is known for deep color and fruity flavors so this was the perfect pick for my sangria recipe. The blackberries and the grapefruit slices give this sangria a fruity flavor and the jalapeno syrup kicks the whole glass up a notch. Let’s raise our glass of sangria and cheers to Malbec!
