Today I'm sharing a tea inspired gin cocktail that is perfect for spring. First off, I have been obsessed with matcha tea lately. The color and the flavor are so good, I thought it would be the perfect component for a spring inspired cocktail. Matcha tea is a fine powdered green tea. It’s historic roots stem from Japanese tea ceremonies that center on the preparation, serving, and drinking of the matcha. I used a matcha tea latte mix from Trader Joe's because at the moment, I do not have a matcha tea kit. I thought this would be a perfect approach to taste matcha tea and get a flavor for it. The mix is easy to use and a perfect balance for the gin. Let’s try something new together! Cheers!
