The Bourbon Review and Danville-Boyle County Convention & Visitors Bureau are excited to announce the launch of the Best Places to Stay in Bourbon Country 2018! This program will highlight the best-in-class hospitality experiences catering to the Bourbon Tourism market.

“There are outstanding hospitality providers in Kentucky curating specific experiences for the Bourbon Tourist – our hope is that this program will recognize their hard work and dedication,” says Bob Eidson, Co-Founder of The Bourbon Review. “In addition to recognition, we hope to inspire others to pivot more towards the ongoing fascination with Bourbon. It’s an opportunity to further embrace one of our greatest strengths as a state – our Bourbon heritage.”

We want you to help us recognize the places who work hard to welcome the hundreds of thousands of guests that visit Bourbon Country every year. We’re looking for places that embody Southern Hospitality, make it easy for you to get to your favorite distilleries, and have amazing food and drink. Places that you recommend to your friends and family, and come back to year after year. Fill out the nomination form here and tell us who makes Bourbon Country feel like home to you!

Each submission will require the name and mailing address of the nominee, be it a hotel, Air BnB, or state park. Comments, photos, and website information will also be appreciated. The criteria for evaluation include: Relevance to Bourbon History, Location, Charm, Hospitality, and Amenities.

The program will begin today, January 18th, and submissions will be accepted until February 15th. The final list of the Best Places to Stay in Bourbon Country 2018 will be published in the Spring 2018 issue of The Bourbon Review. We look forward to reading your submissions!
