Editor's Note: If you're not lucky enough to own a Thermomix, you can achieve similar results by heating the mixture over low heat in a heavy-bottomed saucepan.

Its a no brainer, Nutella and vodka. Of all the things to pair, this is a match made in boozy heaven.

Add this to your Christmas gift list, but keep some for yourself because as much as your friends will rave about it, you will want to make sure you have a little stash left over for a quiet little nightcap once the kids have gone to bed. It makes a pretty delicious hot chocolate!!

There are a few recipes doing the rounds, and this one is a mash up of 2 similar recipes i found, with some Thermomix ease thrown in. Who has time for stirring a simmering pot of chocolate anyway?

The use of long life cream will mean you can store this in the liquor cabinet rather than the fridge. Assuming it lasts long enough to need storage!!

Ingredients

Makes 500mls

250gm Nutella

200gm Cream

50gm raw sugar

250gm Vodka (37.5%)

Method (see Editor's Note, above)

Add Nutella, cream and sugar to your TM bowl.

Heat at 80 degrees, for 4 minutes, speed 2.

Add vodka and mix for 20 seconds on speed 3.

Allow to cool and strain into a glass bottle.

Store in the fridge.
