Jean-Claude Killy, nicknamed “Toutoune” (the fat woman) -- the classiest professional skier in history -- was famously sponsored by Möet et Chandon. Never seen without a bottle of champagne at his side, he was the master of après-ski. So when you’ve hung up your skis for the day, hit the chalet, and order up a glass of bubbly.
Top your champagne glass with Chambord.
Then, try this:
Rub the rim of the glass with a pad of butter, a thirty second version of fat-washing. The salt and fat of the butter will add a delightful savory quality to a fairly sweet take on the Kir Royale.
Raise your glass with a quote from the man himself, “Winning tastes good!”
