Sorry been under the weather a bit this last week, and I apologize. Let's talk Rum on this Monday (morning?? - it is as this is written) and about the title - conceived as a greeting I think it would make a great drink... Anyone ever do a Rum Sunrise??? I think I'd stick to a clear spirit - Orange juice and Run -- Oh YEAH! a drizzle of Grenadine -- Sounds Summery!

All right back to business. First -- RTRR will be at The Chicago Hilton where the Chicago Independent Spirits Expo (CISE) will be hosted. Sept 30 -- Looks like 5-9pm. Should be fun, hope to bring stories - sample some Rums that have been on my wish list. Maybe get some chat in and a picture or two.

Rum Powered Bird w/Contrails

I have been putting off (for no good reason) a more one-on-one mano y mano taste test of Devil's Message Rum -- so check in later this week and I'll reminisce on how I lost nearly 1/2 bottle of this great Rum....

On the new Rums To Me list -- got a Tweet from Kahakai Tiki Rum that it is made in Temperance Michigan.... gotta track that one down!! Perhaps they will be at CISE?? If not most of Michigan is within striking distance for me....
