Saffron Vodka and Soda

Three readers love this post.
Today I wanted to share a simple and light recipe; the Saffron Vodka and Soda. This drink replaces the boring vodka soda drink and elevates it with exciting flavors. The saffron syrup can be made ahead of time and used in various drinks like the Saffron Negroni, Bourbon Saffron Slammer, and the Saffron Gin and Tonic. Saffron is an expensive spice so making the syrup and getting multiple uses out of it really makes this drink worth it. One fun party idea would be to make several syrups and have guest create their own flavored vodka or gin drinks. This would be perfect for a fall dinner party because the cardamom and saffron in the syrup really highlight fall flavors. Plus saffron is such a beautiful and exotic spice it brings a mystery to booze and will wow your friends and guest. Take you vodka and soda to the next level add this amazing saffron syrup and you will feel exotic! Cheers!
