Zero readers love this post.
INGREDIENTS:
1.5 oz Aged Rum
2 tsp. Granulated Sugar
1 pinch of allspice
4 cloves
pinch of cinnamon powder
1 egg
1 oz. half and half
GARNISH:
1 Watermelon
Cinnamon flavored gold sugar
PREPARATION:
Place all ingredients except for the half and half and the egg, into a small pot or little steel pitcher. Mix until steamy and frothy and if you have an espresso steaming wand to do the trick then that will be even easier. Separate the egg white and yolk and mix them separately before combining them together in a bowl.
Now pour the rum mixture to the egg very slowly while stirring gently .
Bring the half and half to a boil in a pan and then add in the rum/egg mixture and whisk until creamy and frothy.
At this point its your choice...now that all the ingredients are mixed well you can choose to serve your drink as a hot or cold concoction... if you want to serve it cold you will need to let it cool down for around an hour and chill in the refrigerator ... NO ICE REQUIRED!
The color is warm ivory...when served warm the scent of the spirits and the spices combined are the first kick that the nose is able to perceive... the taste is creamy, rich & purely intoxicating.
