If you're not lucky enough to own a Thermomix, you can achieve similar results in a standard blender.

Heavens above, you’ve got my blood pressure rising. I may be a lady, but I'm lady who knows her way around a cocktail, so trust me when I say Sex on the Beach is one of those sneak-up-on-you sorts.

I wanted to class it up a bit and give it a Thermomix makeover.

Ingredients

Makes 3 tall glasses

1 400gm can tinned Peaches, drained and frozen

3 shots Peach Schnapps

3 shots Vodka

200gm Orange Juice

100gm Cranberry Juice

For Garnish:

Dash of Grenadine

Fresh peach slices

Cherry

Method

Add frozen peaches and alcohol to the Thermomix bowl.

Blitz for 10 seconds on speed 10.

Scrape down the sides and repeat once.

Add Orange Juice and mix for 5 seconds on speed 5.

Add Cranberry Juice and mix for 5 seconds on speed 5.

Pour into tall glasses garnished with a fresh peach slice and cherry.

Pour a splash of Grenadine over the back of a cocktail spoon and allow to pool at the bottom of the glass.
