The summer weather has certainly arrived for most of us and if you live in any area that is sweltering and humid, you definitely need a break and could use something to help beat the summer heat. Frozen Fruit ~ Keep fresh fruit on hand or buy frozen fruit to snack on during the day. Fruit is a wonderful source of vitamins so adding your favorite fruit to a cocktail, a dessert or simply eating it alone is great and frozen is even better in the summer!

Cook Outdoors ~ Cooking outdoors not only saves your electric bill a few bucks but helps to keep the heat out of your home. We all have to eat, but rather than heat up the kitchen by using your stove or oven, fire up the grill! You can cook almost anything on the grill with a bit of preparation and imagination and who doesn't love a good cook-out?

Chill in the Pool ~ If you have a pool, you probably already appreciate the cooling effects during the hot summer months. Taking a dip in any time of the day is so refreshing and energizing, not to mention that swimming is great exercise. If you don't have a pool available to you, then invest in a misting hose, kiddie pool or sprinkler so that you can still enjoy the exhilarating water and be rejuvenated!
