I love spicy cocktails! Especially if they're tasty, and one spicy liqueur I just love is Ancho Reyes, so if I could I would add it to every cocktail. Unfortunately, I'm perfectly aware of the fact that it's too peculiar to work in everything, but I did a bit of research and development and some of the stuff I came up with is pretty damn good. So, please go ahead and try this fruity and somewhat spicy tiki style drink with notes of cacao and caribbean spices - I hope you'll approve!

Spice up your life

2 oz aged rum
1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
1/2 oz Falernum syrup
1/4 oz creme de cacao
1/4 oz Ancho Reyes liqueur

Shake with ice cubes, strain into double Old Fashioned-glass filled with cracked ice, garnish with flaming spent lime shell filled with overproof rum.

Mellow and full of tropical fruit flavours, this is a lovely and well balanced cocktail with just enough smokey spice from the ancho chile liqueur. Good luck!
