Here are three cocktail creations that will bring a little fun to your St Patrick's Day party or pub celebration. And they photograph beautifully, thus create instant social media buzz and perhaps instant business.

St Patrick's Day Cocktail Creations:
Pot O' Gold- 1 oz. Jameson, 1/2 oz. Apple Pucker, splash( careful ) Green Creme de Menthe, squeeze fresh lime juice, 2 oz. sour mix. Shake and strain into chilled cocktail glass. Pour 1/2 oz. Grand Marnier slowly down side of cocktail glass so it layers on bottom of glass. Garnish mint leaves ,shamrocks, and or lime slice.

This cocktail is part of a style I have named "Transitionals". As the cold cocktail is sipped and consumed, taste buds transition to the warmer rich liqueur at the bottom. The final transition is to an after dinner snifter of the liqueur. In this case Grand Marnier.

St. Patrick's Day Cocktail 2- The Peppermint Patrick - 3/4 oz. Jameson, 1/2 oz. Midori, 1/4 oz. Green Creme de Menthe, 1 oz. cream. Shake and strain into chilled cocktail glass. Pour 1/2 oz. Galliano down side of glass so it layers on bottom of glass. Garnish mint leaves and, or shamrocks. You can fill a straw with Galliano, hold your thumb over the top of straw and carefully put straw to bottom of cocktail glass and release Galliano that way, or over the back of the bar spoon.

This recipe may also be blended and poured into shot glasses, and Galliano laced on top. I call these Adult Ice Cream. Add a little whipped cream on top and you have my " Ice Cream Cupcakes ". The Ice cream Cupcakes pair beautifully with petit fours for an awesome finish to a meal.

Keep this one in mind for the Summer too!The McSlide- Blend: 3/4 oz.Baileys, 1/3 oz.Kahlua and 2/3 oz. Jameson with cream and ice. Once blended add shaved chocolate and blend for 2 seconds. Garnish with touch of whipped cream made with a bit of the same liqueurs( Crème De Bourg) add a shaved chocolate curl. Preparation note. When making a blended drink, here is a foolproof way to avoid over icing the blended drink. Fill presentation glass with ice and cover with all ingredients and pour into blender. It is a simple way to avoid over icing.
