Last night we had the opportunity to give this bad boy a try. At 1oz this does not come cheap by any means, but we were celebrating something important in our lives, so we figured, why not. At about $50 an ounce this is something that you'll either love or hate, for us it worked out. Because it was absolutely something we loved. Sometimes its not about the cost, but more about the experiences, and this was definitely one of those experiences. Like seeing old Saint Nick on Xmas dropping off your presents (yes he does exist, in all of our whisky hearts, that is).

This is a stand alone whisky in terms of quality. It has a pretty big whopping price tag of about $500+ dollars attached to it. However, if quality trumps affordability, then this one should be added as part of your collection. Again, its part of a collection, as in opening it up for a special occassion, not an every day kind of whisky.
