1 1/2 oz Plymouth Gin
1/2 oz Yellow Chartreuse
1/2 oz Cynar
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice and stir
Strain into a smaller volume wine glass and either serve up or with one cube of ice
I don't think this drink has an official name, but was one of those on-the-spot creations made for me by Carlo Splendorini at Michael Mina in San Francisco before I started a long meal. It was wonderful and I recreated it at home a few weeks later.
