Campari; it's known for being used in the infamous Negroni, but unsurprisingly enough, it's also used in other cocktails such as Pam Wiznitzer's latest invention known as the one and only Campari Iris.

Created for Iris Apfel x Nude, inspiration was pulled from Iris' personality and style in hopes to represent her fashion sense cocktail style. However, when creating the cocktail, Wiznitzer "wanted it to really embody Iris. We kept with bold colors to reflect her bright and iconic sense. But the real beauty of this drink are the complex layers of flavors that range from bitter to herbal, sweet and sour. Iris is a multi-dimensional woman who has accomplished so many different and nuanced achievements throughout her career. I wanted this drink to evoke like she has over the decades."
Ingredients for ‘Campari Iris’ include:
1 ½ ounces of Skyy Vodka
¾ ounce of Campari
½ ounce of Shiso Honey
½ ounce of Lemon Juice
½ ounce of Pineapple Juice
In order to make ‘Campari Iris,’ here’s how it’s done:
Method: Shake and strain
Glass: NUDE glass with one large ice cube
Garnish with: a shiso leaf and an edible flower
Note: In order to make the shiso honey that’s used in this drink, mix equal parts honey, water and until fully dissolved. Blanch shiso leaves (roughly 10 per Liter of syrup) and blend with the liquid. strain through a superbag to remove small particles.
