Zero readers love this post.
I love to create original recipes but I thought I’d get back to basics. This simple syrup recipe is something that you find in a variety of drink recipes from margarita’s to lemonade. This recipe can also be adapted to include different fruit juices and herbs.
The Basics | Simple Syrup
Yield: 1 1/2 cups
1 cups Water
1 cup Sugar (I used a combination of white and raw sugar)
Put everything in a small saucepan and heat over low.
Stir until the sugar dissolves.
Let cool slightly before adding it to a sealed container.
Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
