The Bitter Duchess

This Bitter Duchess cocktail is simple as it is refreshing and a favorite of mine to
date. The combination of Scorpion Mezcal, Orgeat (almond syrup), and Campari really give this cocktail depth and a unique flavor profile. The fresh lime juice adds the perfect citrusy balance and will refresh and cool you down, even on the hottest Summer day. May you imbibe well.

45ml (1.5oz) Scorpion silver mezcal
7.5ml (1/4oz) Campari
22.5ml (3/4oz) Orgeat (almond syrup)
22.5ml (3/4oz) Fresh lime juice
2 dash Regan's orange bitters
Glass: Coupette
Garnish: ground almond powder rim & lime wheel

Prep: Rim glass with lime, apply ground almond powder and add lime wheel. Combine all ingredients into a shaker cup with 4-5 icecubes. Shake generously, strain into Coupette. Sip, savor and enjoy!
