Fourty-nine readers love this post.
I am not sure why I have not thought of this, or even seen it before now, but this is one of those trends that has a lot of potential for changing the way people drink certain cocktails. The Il Palio, created by Casa Luca in D.C., is one of the coolest new cocktail trends out there today, it is basically like having two drinks in one, with a little time it will morph itself into a different cocktail all-together in front of your eyes.
A morphing cocktail by definition is: a cocktail that will allow for multiple experiences in one glass, as the addition of infused ice cubes will subtly change your drink’s flavor and aroma over the course of consumption.
So basically, this drink will start out as a Maker's Mark Manhattan; then as the Campari Ice Cubes melt in the glass, it morphs into a Maker's Mark Boulevardier.

This is a cool drink, and I think it is the start of other innovative cocktails that include putting liquor in the ice cubes. Thank you for reading The IL PALIO - One of the Coolest New Cocktail Trends - Morphing Cocktail. Please leave a comment below and let me know what you think.
