There are quite a few "Lucky Lady" cocktail recipes out there, but none quite as intoxicating as this. The New Lucky Lady. I'm calling it this because I feel super duper lucky these days and this happened to be a brain storm for what happened to be in the house. Because of the 'lucky' vibe I've been feeling, these ingredients went down well and really hit the spot! Drink this and roll the dice, let the chips fall as they may, play my friends, just play and have fun, the luck will come.

The New Lucky Lady

(for one serving)

2 ice cubes

2 ounces of Limoncello (lemon liqueur) (1 jigger)

1/4 teaspoon of grated ginger (there abouts)

1 tablespoon of honey syrup

Whiskey

You can make a honey syrup by putting a 1:1 ratio of water to honey in a sauce pan. Warm til diluted and add this to your blender. Or, you can rim the glass with honey. I find that the honey drips down slowly enough that your fingers will be okay.

So, put the ice cubes in blender, add honey syrup, pour in lemon liqueur, grate in the ginger. Blend til frothy. Pour in a glass and add as much whiskey as you like.

You can garnish with a lemon rind if you like.

Be sure to wink as you serve.

How lucky you are! Enjoy!
