Whether you fancy it stirred or shaken, it’s no wonder the world has a fascination with cocktails. World Cocktail Day is fast approaching on May 13th, which celebrates the day the word cocktail was first published in print in 1806 in The Balance and Columbian Repository. 200+ years later, we can all gladly raise our glasses!

To help you get your cocktail celebrations started, indulge in the below libations from such internationally renowned spirits such as the classic Usquaebach whisky of Scotland. The recipe below was created by Ryan Judson, Brand Ambassador for Usquaebach.

Ingredients:
1.0 oz. Usquaebach Reserve Scotch whisky
1.0 oz. Pierre Ferand Dry Curacao
1.0 oz. La Quintinye Vermouth Royal Blanc
Grapefruit wedge (for garnish)

Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a rocks glass over ice. Stir, garnish with grapefruit twist
