Better Cocktails at Home just finished a tour of Oahu, Hawaii. We took a nice one week vacation where we visited a distillery, some bars, a legendary tiki restaurant and many beaches. A highlight was spending time at Manulele Distillery, owned by Robert Dawson. He showed us around and let us sample his delicious single-cane agricole rum. I really like what he is producing. I also got to meet Kyle Reutner from Hawaii Bitters Company.
Using some Kohana Kea rum (Mahi 'ula) I made a delicious Ti Punch.
Ti Punch
1.5oz agricole rum (Kohana Kea)
1 barspoon cane syrup
1 lime disc
Add all ingredients to a glass and stir. Squeeze the lime juice in before stirring.
