At 2am this Sunday, March 10, we'll all be turning our clocks ahead one hour for Daylight Savings Time. (Except those of you in Arizona. The only state in the union that actually admits how ludicrous this twice a year ritual is.) And while we gain more time to be productive before the sun sets, we also lose an hour of sleep. A precious hour of sleep.

So to help ease the transition, I recommend you end your Saturday night with a Spring Forward Julep. A well-muddled mix of Basil Hayden's bourbon, strawberries, mint and lemon, it's the perfect well to welcome spring… and help you forget the sleep you're gonna lose.
