As the name suggests, this drink is a variation on the classic Grasshopper cocktail. Luxurious green Chartreuse takes place of the crème de menthe to what essentially is a Chartreuse Grasshopper— and what a change the Chartreuse provides. Compared to the original, this version is slightly less rich but offers a lot more structure. It is much more herbaceous and boozier — the Chartreuse is 55 percent alcohol — but still very decadent and approachable,. I hope you enjoy this beauty. Cheers!

The Grenoble Grasshopper

1.5oz Green Chartreuse

1oz Marie Brizard white crème de cacao

1oz heavy cream

Garnish: mint leaf

Combine all ingredients into your favorite mixing glass. Shake well and strain into a claret-style glass. Garnish with mint.
