Looking for a winter warmer to help you ward off the quickly approaching cold weather? What better way than with a cocktail, or two, that you can make at home? Whether it’s a holiday party, Thanksgiving gathering, or a meal with friends, these cocktails are sure to be a hit!

For a night by the fireplace… GOLDEN HOT TODDY:

  • 50 ml Aberfeldy 12
  • 15 ml Local Honey Syrup*
  • 20 ml Lemon Juice
  • Spice Mix

* Local Honey Syrup: 100g of honey, 64g water, stir and leave to chill. Bottle and use accordingly.

Method: Hot, spicy and zesty, we mix a bespoke hot toddy mix with Aberfeldy 12, local honey, lemon juice and hot water for this winter warmer.

For Friendsgiving… THE HOWDY’S DRAM:

  • 750 ml Craigellachie 13 Year Old
  • 300 ml Palo Cortado Sherry
  • 250 ml Herbal Liqueur
  • 400 ml Spearmint Tea (or favorite tea flavor)
  • 10 dashes of Angostura Bitters

Method: Steep tea bags in boiling water. Let cool before using it. Combine all ingredients together in a punch bowl. Garnish with a healthy bouquet of mint and as big of an ice cube* as you can find to fit your punch bowl. Dust the mint leaves with a bit of powdered sugar to add some pizzazz.

*Note: If you’re using smaller cubes, wait to add until just before your least fashionably-late guest arrives.

For a sweet treat to remind you over the summer days… WINTER HIBISCUS MARGARITA:

  • 1 ½ Tequila Cazadores Reposado
  • 1 oz. Homemade Hibiscus Syrup
  • ½ oz. Fresh Lime Juice
  • ½ oz. Agave Nectar
  • Cinnamon Sugar Rim

Method: In a cocktail shaker combine all the ingredients with ice, shake and serve over ice in a Margarita glass. Cinnamon sugar on the rim and garnish with a lime wheel.

For a night spent baking cookies… HOT APPLE & ORANGE TODDY:

  • 1 oz. Tequila Cazadores Reposado
  • 1/2 oz. Blood Orange Puree
  • Apple Cider
  • 5 oz. Hot Water
  • 2 Star Anise

Method: In a mug combine apple cider, hot water, blood orange puree and mix well, add the rest of the ingredients and serve. Garnish with orange peel.
