LA is such as scene. At times you can not keep up on where to go and what to sip on.
Here is a classic list of our go to spots for the Summer Nights of 2017-
Petit Ermitage- Classic for Los Angeles. In the heart of West Hollywood, this rooftop requires either a room key or a member. This roof allows a 360-degree view of the Hollywood Hills. Why people love coming to this private hotel is because it does not have a line, nor a list. You can either go to the roof or not. When you are there, it feels as if you were in Napa. All the elements are there for the perfect get away setting; pool, cabana area, lounge, roof top deck with sections for privacy, and the main attraction- the private garden.
The Rooftop By JG at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills- Luxe is all we can say. Well you know when a rooftop claims it combines Latin American, Southeast Asia, New York, and California treasure you are getting the best that they can give you for a travel destination. However, the Rooftop by JG reminds me of your scene out of Sex in The City when Carrie Bradshaw visits Hollywood. Brown Rice Bowls, Big Security guards, Hollywood agents schmoozing off to the side, and of course the beautiful of LA. The Rooftop By JG is one of the best roof tops of Summer 2017 because it gives the visitor exactly what they want out of good ole Hollywood- a fairytale scene. Oh, the bar is pretty too.
The Highlight Room at the Dream Hollywood- With Dream Hotel Hollywood room rates going at nearly $ 400.00 a night, I better get access to the rooftop. The 11,00 Square Foot Rooftop is the place to be seen for this summer. The youth of Hollywood is hanging here. All you need is at this Rooftop. If the view is not enough, you can pick and choose from fine dining to dancing at some of Hollywood’s biggest nightclubs; Avenue and Tao Los Angeles. If you are looking for a party filled night, start out on this rooftop, you will not regret it.
Upstairs Rooftop Lounge at the Ace Hotel, Downtown- This is our absolute favorite rooftop in DTLA, and mind you there are many. However, this rooftop is unique. Upstairs is the sky-high urban oasis at Ace Hotel Downtown Los Angeles. With a concrete pool and city lights stretched out in all directions. The vibe is certainly an artsy crowd and laid back. There is this cool NYC hipster vibe under the stars while of course surrounded by old Los Angeles Architecture. Cocktails are great, a live DJ spins nightly, and there are no hassles, well until they hit capacity.
E.P. L.P. Rooftop- This rooftop is straight profiting from the LA scene, with fun nightly activities such as their new Movie Night, E.P. L.P. has yet to lose its’ “hot spot” flare. This rooftop doesn’t have a wildly fantastic view of all of LA, but the food and cocktail scene is why we would visit! First, off they serve Viva XXXII tequila, which is delicious. This tequila has a buttery balance making any mixed concoction taste fabulous
Sky Bar at the Mondrian- Boasting some of the finest views of Los Angeles, Skybar is a glamorous open-air bar perched above the pool at Mondrian Los Angeles. Since it first opened, Skybar, located in the heart of the sunset strip, has remained one of the hottest nightlife destinations for celebrities, wide-eyed ingénues, and the Los Angeles elite, hosting LA’s most coveted events and gatherings for over 15 years. Currently, their summer programming features the Friday “Just Ditch” afternoon poolside fete, the XIV party on Sundays which takes over Skybar for an all-out weekly themed bash with the hottest DJs around, and the sultry Wicked Paradise night swim party on Wednesday evenings. Check out Happy Bites for their full bar menu.
W Hollywood Rooftop- Keep your summer sizzling with Splash Night Fridays brought to Hollywood by special event producers, French Tuesdays. Splash Night Fridays are our Rooftop choice with one of the best views of Hollywood Blvd. This Rooftop allows anyone to swim at night during the summer while in a club -like setting. Guests can enjoy a bubble show at midnight which fills the Hollywood Sky with millions of bubbles. The pool side bar program features Bulldog Gin and Canard Duchene. The party is open to the public and is our one rooftop destination that resembles your club experience without the velvet rope troubles.
