Hey all my beauties and savvy sippers. It’s cold now here in NYC and all I want now is a hot beverage during this weather. It’s frigid. Awful. I find myself gravitating toward tea. Yes, tea. That piping hot beverage that makes everything so much better, but is better when it is a bit spirited—if you catch my drift.

Therefore it is Hot Toddy season. Yes, I claimed that, but it’s an unwritten rule. Of course my hot toddy’s need to be a little fruffy, so I tinkered with Winter Jack. The addition of this spirit made

Winter Jack Apple Hot Toddy

1.0 oz Winter Jack

0.5 oz Lemon Juice

2.0 oz Boiled water

1 Teaspoon of Honey

Lemon

First boil the water. While boiling, add honey to the mug you are using; I squirted the honey in a fun fashion on the bottom. Add the Jack and lemon. Once the water is boiled, top the glass off. Stir. Garnish with lemon or cinnamon stick.

Use decorative mugs to make this classic staple just perfect. Cheer, my friends and keep warm!
