Here's a fun end of summer idea as you do your last BBQ of the summer: throw a whole lemon on the grill and let it cook till it’s turned into charcoal. You then can micro plane this lemon charcoal over cocktails which gives your drink a smoky and mellow citrus scent.
Ingredients:
1 part Russells Reserve Bourbon
1 part Grand Marnier
.75 parts lemon
.5 parts honey syrup
1 egg white
Directions:
Dry shaken, then add ice and hard shake, strain into a sour glass and micro plane lemon charcoal over the top.
