I was going to make Don the Beachcomber's famous Zombie Punch, but when I went through my cabinet I discovered that some ingredients were missing - and it's been a very long day so I didn't feel like going to the grocery store. Instead, I came up with this drink. It's nothing revolutionary, but a nice twist on one of my favourite drinks... so I thought I'd share it with you since it's Halloween and all. Basically, it's a Trader Vic's Mai Tai with pumpkin and spices instead of orgeat syrup. Enjoy!

Pumpkin Mai Tai

30 ml fresh lime juice

10 ml Maple Joe maple syrup
3-4 barspoons Libby's 100% Pure Pumpkin
1 pinch pumpkin spice

Shake with ice cubes, pour unstrained into double old fashioned glass or scary tiki mug, fill with crushed ice and garnish with a spent lime shell. Serve with a straw.
