About the Bury the Hatchet cocktail

This is a fun and unique variation on an Old Fashioned. Rum is used instead of whiskey and alpine liqueur brings a subtle spice. Don't neglect the garnish, as the orange peel and rosemary bring a delightful overall aromatic to this evening sipper.

Ingredients in the Bury the Hatchet cocktail

1 1/2 oz aged blended rum
1/2 oz Alpine Liqueur
1 tsp Demerara syrup
1 dash aromatic bitters
2 dash chocolate bitters

Garnish: Orange peel & fresh rosemary

How to make the Bury the Hatchet cocktail

Add all ingredients to a mixing glass and stir with ice. Strain into a rocks glass over one large ice cube. Slap a sprig of rosemary on your hand then drop into drink. Gently express an orange peel over the top before adding it to the cocktail.
