About the Mezcal Old Fashioned

This is a twist on the old classic for folks that like things a bit more on the smokey side of things. We take the original Old Fashioned recipe and add some spice from South of the Boarder!

Ingredients in the Mezcal Old Fashioned

• 2 oz - Of your favorite Mezcal Tequila - I really like Mestizo Mezcal these days
• 1 tsp - Agave Nectar
• "A few" dashes - Angostura bitters
• "A Splash" - Cold Water to open that bad boy up
• Garnish with lemon rind

How to Make the Mezcal Old Fashioned

Add of the above mentioned ingredients in your mixing glass and stir vigorously with bar spoon to try to get that agave nectar all up in there.

Add ice and stir again to cool

Strain into a rocks glass with one large ice cube in there.
