There's just something about the smell of mulled wine that signals us to think of Fall. Maybe it's the spice aroma in the clove, or the fact that it's warm as the air turns crisp, but this is hands down one of our favorite fall cocktails to make, especially while entertaining as it's easy to batch. The birch bark gives an earthy flavor that keeps this cocktail from becoming overly sweet.

Birch Bark Mulled Wine

4 bottles Red Wine

1 bottle Tattersall Amaro

1 piece birch bark (4"x6")

3 tbsp. Cloves

2 Oranges sliced into wheels.

Combine all ingredients in a Crock-Pot and place on medium heat. When the liquid is warm to the touch remove the birch bark. Ladle into mugs of your choice, and serve.
