Pineapple is a classic ingredient for tiki cocktails, but the old standbys of canned pineapple juice and rum are not enough these days. We went to Mother of Pearl to get their take on using fresh pineapple in recipes from the classics to the twists. So watch the video above to learn more or make the recipes below!


Sugar Cane Magik

2 oz coconut purée

3/4 oz pineapple juice

3/4 oz orgeat

1/2 oz Lime juice

Dry shake. Pour into tall glass/ tumbler. Fill with cracked ice/pebble ice. Top with 50ml bottle of rum, orchid and decorative straw.

Back to Basics

3/4 oz kiwi purée
1/2 oz simple syrup

1 oz pineapple juice

1/2 oz lemon juice
1/2 oz maraschino liqueur
1 1/2 oz vodka

Dry shake, pour into wine glass over crushed ice. Float 1/2 Aperol and 3 dashes Peychauds bitters. Garnish pineapple leaves and decorative straw.
