You know what would be perfect during the long Labor Day weekend BBQ? The one that starts in the morning and goes all day to end at night. Cocktails that you can sip all day! Wouldn't that be wonderful? Try a cocktail made with Sake. Sake has low ABV (alcohol by volume) so you won't get too messy after having a couple.
Ingredients:
- 1 oz lime juice
- 2 teaspoons superfine sugar
- 1 cup crushed ice
- 10 fresh mint leaves, set aside a few sprigs for garnish
- 3 oz Sake
- 1 oz club soda
Directions:
In a highball glass, stir sugar into lime juice until it dissolves. Add ¼ cup ice. Tear mint leaves in half and add to mixture. Gently stir for 15-20 seconds. Add sake, remaining crushed ice, and club soda. Stir once more for a few seconds before garnishing with mint sprigs
