Under a dusky sky on an unseasonably comfortable Miami evening, Zacapa Rum launched the latest in their portfolio of rums with the introduction of Zacapa Edición Negra, the brand’s most luxurious addition created by famed Master Blender Lorena Vasquez.

Beachfront views and chilled cocktails greeted guests as the sun began to set under the retractable roof on the terrace of Los Fuegos Restaurant, located in the South American-inspired luxury hotel, Faena Miami Beach.
Attendees at the intimate evening soirée celebrated the Art of Slow by sipping, dining and enjoying thoughtful conversations with Master Blender Lorena Vasquez and Chef Francis Mallman, who created an unparalleled dining experience for guests. The carefully comprised smoky notes found throughout Zacapa Edición Negra were complemented by the fiery blaze of Mallman’s open-air Argentine Asado, the inspiration behind his culinary concept at Los Fuegos.
The event was the perfect introduction to a summer of rum in a city that can appreciate taking time to enjoy the finer things in life.

1.5 oz Zacapa Edicion Negra
Garnish: Orange Peel

1.5oz Ron Zacapa 23
.5 Dry Curacao
.25oz China-China Liqueur
.75oz Lime Juice
.75oz Orgeat
Shake and strain with crushed ice and roll contents into a Collins glass.
