Nothing says winter quite like a Hot Toddy. Yes! They’re totally delicious and really warm up the soul.

This year, I decided to shake up my Toddy's (pun intended). I’ve been a fan of The Famous Grouse ($29.99 ) for awhile and thought it might be fun to experiment with. The Grouse is made with the finest grains, Scottish water, and sherry and bourbon casks help create this rich, rounded, and sweet whisky. Smooth and balanced, it shows notes of candied fruits, buttery shortbread, citrus peel, and soft spices like cinnamon and ginger. Every cask is nosed prior to blending to ensure the highest quality and consistency batch to batch. I thought it might be perfect to match with a cider– which I’ve never stirred with my Toddy's before until now.

I picked out a unique honey to pair with this. The Golden Blossom Honey Premium Pure U.S. Honey ($9.99) has been around since 1921 with a unique blend of three pure honeys: orange blossom, sage buckwheat, and extra white clover, creating the signature Golden Blossom Honey flavor. It is sourced exclusively from U.S. beekeepers and does not contain any additives or preservatives.
The toddy was delicious. I don’t believe I can ever go back to other Toddy’s!
