Winter days are not easy to get through. Between the freezing temperatures, the snowfall and the lack of sunlight the days can start to feel like a slog. But all that misery means there's only one solution: it's time to drink.

And what better drink than a warm concoction that can add a bit of coziness to the proceedings? We of course are talking about the classic hot toddy, which takes whisky and combines it with lemon, ginger and a bit of sweetness.
