During my 2015 cross-country road trip, my family and I spent about a month in Colorado. While we were there, I took the opportunity to go visit Sean Smiley owner and founder of State 38 Distilling, in Golden, Colorado. State 38 Distilling is unique because most of their spirits are made by fermenting and distilling organic Weber Blue Agave syrup. Currently, State 38's spirits are only available in Colorado, so if you happen to live in the Centennial State or you are visiting, definitely check them out.
