If you’re like us, you’ve forgotten your jacket at the bar about… oh, six thousand times. But now, drinkers everywhere have one hoodie way too cool to ever take off.

The Drinking Jacket didn’t just meet its $50,000 Kickstarter goal, it blew past it ten times to raise more than $500,000. It’s all thanks to nifty features every boozer didn’t know they needed, including a bottle-opener zipper, drinking mitts (to keep your hands warm and your drink cold), a hidden flask pocket, a koozie pocket and a sunglasses holder (because sunglasses make you look cool—always).

The garment sprang from the mind of Zane Lamprey, host of National Geographic’s crowdfunded show Chug, which follows him drinking across six countries.

Five Kickstarter pledgers who shelled out $1,000 or more joined Lamprey at a private dinner and VIP party. A year on, the jackets are in full production, retailing for a cool $85—a small price to pay for booze-focused fashion.
