The celebration returns for its sixth annual presentation
SACRAMENTO, CA – Next Wednesday, Midtown Cocktail Week creators Erick Castro and Joe Anthony Savala will celebrate the start of their 6th annual weeklong celebration that brings together a population of local bartenders, fine spirits, fresh products, and artisan cocktails. Celebrating and promoting Sacramento’s artisan cocktail movement, MCW will feature nightly events and pop-ups at a variety of restaurants throughout the city including Hook & Ladder Manufacturing CO., Blackbird, Grange, and Red Rabbit – each of which who have been making tremendous efforts in the city’s movement. Educational events begin on Thursday night with highlights that include presentations by celebrated cocktail historian and writer David Wondrich and ‘Drunken Botanist’ author, Amy Stewart.
In the week, Aug 21st through August 25th, the city will be live with cocktail inspiration with the bounty of unique events popping up all over town. It is rather evident that the spark in Sacramento has attracted some of the most inspirational cocktail minds from communities across the country. The event presented by Midtown Business Association, in partnership with Sacramento Convention & Visitors Bureau, Sacramento365.com, Mutineer Magazine, Bols, and The Citizen Hotel is shaping up to be worth the trip this week no matter where you call home.
