We’re all familiar with the cocktail darling, the Moscow Mule, and I’ve certainly seen quite a few in my time. It’s so natural to want to doctor up this simple yet tasty cocktail. Well, I have a special place in my heart for tequila. We’ve been through a lot. The Good, the bad and yes, the ugly. I’m more focused on the good with tequila now. High-quality tequila only, SO when I got my hands on the new VOLCAN tequila, I knew I wanted to create something sippable and special. Not JUST a marg.
The Mexican Moscow Mule
- 1.0 oz Volcan De Mi Tierra Blanco
- 2.0 oz Bruce Cost Ginger Beer
- 1.0 oz Lime Juice
- A touch of Kings County Distillery Grapefruit Jalapeno (optional)
- Mint
Mix the tequila and the lime juice together in a tumbler. Pour into a glass with ice and mint. Top with ginger beer. I decided to add a touch of Kings Country Distillery Grapefruit Jalapeno for a spicy bite, but you can easily add some Jalapenos to the mix.
The tequila is a game changer in the mule. It’s super delicious with the mint. If you like Moscow Mules and tequila then this is a must.
